Celebrate Chinese New Year at Carillon City

Chinese New Year is almost here! So come in on Saturday 28 January at 12pm to experience the troupe of Dragon Dancers visiting Carillon City.

Shoppers are invited to place a gold coin donation in our red offering packets which will be given to the dragon to eat to bring good luck for the year ahead!

Chinese New Year– The Year of the Dragon begins on January 23, 2012. The Dragon is the fifth sign of the Chinese Zodiac, which consists of 12 Animal signs.

The Dragon is a creature of myth and legend.The Emperor of China usually uses the dragon as a symbol of his imperial power. Today, it is the ultimate auspicious symbol signifying success and happiness.
