The three winners which were announced on 16 February 2012, will each have access to the studio in late February for six months where they will create their first individual collections.
The Carton is a “fashion incubator” – a studio where the talented designers will be able to work on their 2012-13 collections to showcase at Perth Fashion Festival towards the end of this year.
The designer space is a fully equipped shop opposite Secrets Shhh on the Hay Street level at Carillon City. It is complete with sewing machines, workstations, mannequins and dress dummies to prepare the designers for a catwalk-ready collection.
The three winners Jessica Hogg, Nicole Marrington and Sam Donaldson are pictured above with the three other contenders Veronica Parish, Rachel Motteram and Gemma McCarthy.
